Course Description

CompTIA’s Cloud Essentials certification validates that a candidate has the knowledge and understanding of the main cloud computing principles and concepts. Successful candidates will understand what cloud computing means from a business and technical perspective, as well as what is involved in moving to and governing the cloud. 

The CompTIA Cloud Essentials program covers the aptitude and proficiency required to understand the configuration of networks, including backup, archive, and restoration technologies, system integration and application workload, business continuity and storage administration, and basic troubleshooting and connectivity.  After successfully completing the course, students will have the opportunity to take the CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ certification exam (CLO-003). 

Prerequisites for this course are CompTIA A+ or equivalent course work with some experience with networking and cloud technologies or six months of work experience in an IT environment.
